Justin Trudeau’s plane damaged by a bus
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s plane was damaged Wednesday night when a newspaper bus scraped off one of the aircraft’s wings.
The plane had just landed in the British Columbia capital, having transported Mr. Trudeau and his team, along with several journalists, across the country on this first day of the federal election campaign.
A bus had parked nearby to transport journalists to the tarmac. When he left, the bus tried to pass under one of the wings of the plane, scratching it noisily.
The Prime Minister’s itinerary for Thursday included stops in Kamloops, British Columbia and Edmonton, Alberta.
A spokeswoman said Wednesday night that these plans remain unchanged while the state of the aircraft is evaluated.
