The Caquist government is “laughing at the world” about transparency.

The official opposition denounces the lack of information on ministers’ schedules.

According to the Liberal Party (PLQ), Quebeckers are kept in the dark about the meetings held by several ministers, even though the Legault government had committed to update the transparence.gouv.qc.ca website , which had been created by the Couillard government to disseminate the public agenda of cabinet members.

In an interview with The Canadian Press on Tuesday, Liberal access to information critic Marc Tanguay took the example of the government leader and Minister of Immigration, Simon Jolin-Barrette, a key players in the cabinet.

No information about his schedule and meetings is available before 1 st February and after that date, there is practically found that the inscriptions indicating its presence in the National Assembly.

However, this site is also supposed to collect all public meetings and meetings with non-governmental actors, which we do not find.

According to Mr. Tanguay, this is a real joke. He noted that the information is also summary for other ministers and requires that all information on ministers’ time use be disclosed in a consistent and comprehensive manner.
