The roofs of two buildings collapsed on Friday morning under the weight of the waterlogged snow.
The firefighters were called at 10:47 am at the Rona warehouse located at 2795 Père-Lelièvre Street. Once on the scene, they saw that the employees were outside. A dog handler was called to check that there was no one who had remained inside.
Electricity and natural gas were cut off to prevent a fire. This is the second time in two years that the roof of this building collapses.
Another roof of an industrial building broke on Desrochers Street. The place was evacuated and the fire department was on the scene. No one was hurt.
